Bretagne has a huge quantity of medieval buildings. They include numerous Romanesque and French Gothic churches, usually built in local sandstone and granite castles and half-timbered houses visible in villages, towns and cities. Bretagne hosts some of France's biggest contemporary music festivals. The traditional drink is cider to have with most meals. Surrounded by the sea, Bretagne offers a wide range of fresh seafood and fish, especially mussels and oysters. Also crêpes and galettes are the two most iconic dishes for meals. The cider industry is one of the biggest here.
